My journey to this point in my life is long and full of adventures. I attended a small school in central Texas where the only theatre opportunities were the yearly One Act Play competitions, so that is what I did. The summer before my senior year of high school I attended a theatre camp at Stephen F Austin State University and was awarded a scholarship to attend the following year, so that is what I did. After four years and so many amazing roles and opportunities, I began my career as a theatre teacher. Four states, six school districts, five high schools, one elementary, two middle schools and twenty-nine years later, I retired and thought, “I should go to graduate school.,” so that is what I did. Now I am ready to start my new careers:  as a performer, an educator, and a mentor.
So welcome to my encore and I look forward to collaborating with you and, as I will always consider myself a student, learning from you.
